35th rally Aplink Lietuvą FIA Eco Rally Lietuva

The almost century-old Rally “Around Lithuania” will gather participants on 3-5 July to compete for the most prestigious award in Lithuanian motorsports – the President’s Cup of the Republic of Lithuania. The competition, which started in 1931 and also marked the official beginning of motorsports in Lithuania, has become one of the most prestigious competitions in the country over its history. This year, it is turning a new page and becoming one of the most modern races in Lithuania - Fia Eco Rally Lithuania Aplink Lietuvą.

The Rally “Around Lithuania”, which will be held for the thirty-fith time, will start on 3rd July in Kaunas. Initially, the athletes will gather at the rally headquarters from early Friday morning. All administrative matters will be sorted out and the drivers’ equipment will be checked. After the formalities are settled, the competition will start at 18.00 with a ceremony at the Kaunas St. Archangel Michael Church, better known as Kaunas Cathedral. This is where the three-day speed trip will begin, in which the participants will test their skills on twenty regularity stages. The competition will take place on the most interesting Lithuanian public roads, the crews will have to follow all traffic rules, but they will have to maintain the set average speed and special stage completion time. This is a unique opportunity to test themselves in a very popular motor sport.

The program of the Rally “Around Lithuania” consists of three days. As already mentioned, the competition will begin in Kaunas with a start ceremony on Friday evening. On the second day, the participants will start and finish in Kaunas. The third day of the rally will start in Kaunas and finish in Vilnius at the Lithuanian Presidency located in S. Daukantas Square, where the awards ceremony for this rally will take place.

Anyone with pure electric cars can participate in the rally, and Lithuanian Automobile Federation licenses will be available for purchase during the administrative checks
